Here at EDS we offer a chance for every dancer to find their place. Some will become instructors, some choreographers, and some administrators. The STEPS Program helps dancers become exactly what they want to be in and out of the studio! These dancers will be helping in your students classes this season and we are so excited for them to be able and learn alongside some of the best instructors in the state!

Lainey Leslie: Hello, my name is Lainey Leslie. This is my 5th year at Expressions Dance Studio. This is my 3rd year dancing on team. I started my Expressions career cheerleading and tumbling. My favorite genre is Hip Hop. What I love about dancing is the friendships I have made. I have great teachers. I help with the toddler class and love watching them learn dance.

Lielle Larson: I’m Lielle Larson and I will be teaching Level One Jazz/Hip Hop class! I’m a senior at John Glenn High School and plan to go into elementary education in the future. I’ve been dancing going on five years and have been in the STEPS program for two years. I’ve been a Varsity cheerleader for three years and plan on continuing that into next year. I love singing and dancing, I was in advanced show choir for three years and in theatre 5 years. I’m excited to take this next step in my teaching and dancing career.

Hannah Peacock: Daughter of Jamie Fleury and David Peacock, is 16 years old and will be a Junior at Plymouth High School. This will be her third full year of competitive dancing with Expressions Dance Studio. Hannah works in concessions at the Culver Beach during the summer. She loves dancing and practices yoga in her free time. Hannah and duo partner Casen Norris also competed in Marshall County Neighborhood Center’s Dancing with the Stars 2022 winning third place overall and crowd favorite. Hannah has won awards for her solo and duos including place in the Culver Lakefest Talent show in 2021 and 2022, she also won Miss Maxinkuckee 2022. She was also selected for The Congress of Future Medical Leaders Award of Excellence. She hopes to continue her education in the field of dance and the fine arts as well as Medicine or Education.

Teagon Price: I’ve been in Hip Hop for 1 year. Dance is a safe place for me to escape my problems. I am very shy but open up pretty quick. I love all animals and recently rescued a kitten. I have met some of the best people her at EDS. My favorite dance classes so far are Hip Hop and Contemporary. I never really loved being center of attention but I’m finding my strength on stage.

Karlyn McNeill: My name is Karlyn McNeill. I am 13 years old and I am in the 8th grade. The sports that I play are soccer, track, and dance. I’ve been doing soccer for 10 years. I’ve been doing track for 2 years. Also dance for 1 year. Things that I like doing are hanging out with friends, swimming, dancing, and babysitting.

Casen Norris: Son of Brian and Amy Norris, is 13 years old and in the 8th grade at Urey Middle School. This is his fourth year of competitive dancing with Expressions Dance Studio. Casen is active in theatre, dancing, music, and sports. His current professional goal is to move to California or New York City. He is considering pursing high education at The Julliard School or University of California Los Angeles. Casen is active in the John Glenn Junior Theatre Company and has performed in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolar Dreamcoat, Beauty and the Beast, and The Fiddler on the Roof. He is active in 4-H, choir, and has participated in Starmakers Summer Musical Theatre Camp for three years. Casen and duo partner Hannah Peacock also competed in Marshall County Neighborhood Center’s Dancing with the Stars 2022 winning third place overall and crowd favorite. Casen has also won awards for his solos and duos including placing in the Culver Lakefest Talent Show in 2021 and 2022, Casen has also place at the Blueberry Festival Talent Show 2021.

Aralyn Price: This will be my 3rd year with EDS. My favorite things at dance is making new friends and having fun. I like meeting all the new people and love learning all the new dance moves. I am super sassy anda bit crazy. I like being center of attention. My favorite dance classes are hip hop and acro.

Aaliyah David: This will be my 3rd year with EDS. I love that I can make new friends every year and that I get to learn new dance moves everyday. My favorite dance classes are jazz, hip hop, and acro. I am nice and super curious all the time. I get nervous before going on stage but as soon as I step on stage I get excited.

Maria Marco: My name is Maria Marco and I am 8 years old. I have a big brother and a little sister. I love to dance! It’s my favorite thing to do! I started dancing when I was 4 years old in Pittsburgh. I moved to Plymouth last year and starting dancing at Expressions. So I am starting my 5th year of dance and my second year dancing at Expressions Dance Studio.

Gracie Ganshorn: I’m Gracie and I’m 10 years old. My favorite color is purple. I have two sisters and three brothers soon to be four. I love animals and my dream job is to be a vet or to be a preschool teacher. I love dancing for EDS. I have been in dance for 9 years. I started when I was 2 years old. Dance is my favorite sport to do. When I started at 2 I was doing Ballet. Then I went to tumbling. I left my old dance studio and came to Expressions. From there I started team first I started on juniors. I worked very hard for 2 years and now I’m on all stars. I help out with the little ones class and I love helping them its so much fun. My favorite dance class is acro, jazz, and solo classes.

Aubree Spears: My name is Aubree. I am 7 years old. I have been dancing for going on 5 years. I love learning new dance tricks and having fun in class.

Akira Clore: Hello! My name is Akira, I am 9 years old! I started my dance education as a Junior Colts Cheerleader 4 years ago. I found Expressions a few months ago and absolutely love being in the studio so much I decided to join team and also going to do a solo. When I’m not at the studio you can catch me on the softball field. I just recently made a travel team! I also enjoy going to concerts and amusement parks. I have 2 cats named Milo and Loki.

Kenzie Ross: Hi, I’m Kenzie Ross. I’m a 6th graders at Riverside Intermediate School. I started taking dance lessons at the studio last year. Although I started to teach myself how to dance in 2019. Here at EDS I have learned how to do techniques for Hip Hop and Jazz. I will continue to grow my knowledge here at the studio. I joined STEPS so I can help other kids learn as much as I have learned. I am so grateful for all the teachers/choreographers who have taught me.

Amelia Stevens: My name is Amelia Stevens. I am thirteen years old and a student at Urey Middle School. This year I am in eighth grade and am on the Track Team and Art Club. I am alsos in the band and play the Flute. This year is my fifth year in dance, third year on team, and first year in the STEPS Program. I am excited to join and ready to learn!

Alicia Teutle: Hi, my name is Alicia Teutle and I’m an Encore and Evolution competition dancer at Expressions Dance Studio. I’ve been dancing for 7 years and over those years I’ve taken: acro, tumbling, hiphop, tap, jazz, contemporary, ballet, pointe, ballroom, and lyrical. This is my second year doing competition dance. What I love about dance is that it is a safe space for me to express myself.

Kamryn Walls: Kamryn is 8 years old and has been dancing since the age of two. She loves all genres of dance, however her favorite is Acro and Tumbling! She absolutely loves to be at the studio whether it is working or in her classes, in her private lessons, or assistant teaching. She wants to be there every day. She loves to be in class and helping with the younger dancers. She wants to set a great example for their dance education. Her favorite time of year is competition and recital season as she gets to be on stage where her smile lights up the room! This season she has added some extra classes to further her skill and advance her dance education. She is excited to learn and grow for many years to come!

Madi Howard: Madi is 10 years old and has been dancing at EDS for the last 8 years! Her absolute favorite thing about dance is her teachers and how they are like family and the friends that she has made along the way! Her favorite classes are Acro and Tumbling where she can flip and fly, but she is the improv queen and bust a move wherever she goes! She is in the 5th grade at Riverside Intermediate School and her favorite thing to do outside of dance….is to dance! She is super excited to help in many classes this season and help share her passion of dance with the little ones!

Chelse Corwin: Bio coming soon...Chelse is 11 yrs old. She is a 5th grader at Riverside Intermediate. She has been dancing at Expressions Dance Studio for 7 years and has been competing for 3 years. Chelse did Taekwondo for 2 years and is a camo belt, and she also did cheer for Plymouth CFA out at LifePlex for 2 years. Her hobbies are bowling, soccer, basketball and softball. She has been in Girl Scouts since Kindergarten. She did the Culver LakeFest Talent Show for 2 years and she got 1st runner up in 2022. She did the Blueberry Talent Show for 2 years. Her favorite classes are hip hop, jazz, tumbling and acro. She loves all her dance instructors. She loves to go on vacations and camping with her family. She also loves to play outside with her brothers and her little cousin. #eds

Anthony Padilla: Bio coming soon...Hi I'm Anthony. i've been dancing since I could walk but at EDS since I was 9. I do Hip Hop and this last year I started Jazz, Tap, and Contemporary. Hip Hop is my favorite and I help in the Hip Hop III Class. I also Bowl, play Soccer, and play video games!
